Darius Wise

President, and CEO of Red Rocks Credit Union

Darius Wise is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Red Rocks Credit Union. He is responsible for overseeing the premiere Colorado financial institution’s business operations, finance, marketing, IT, compliance, and business strategy continuously improving operations and profitability, while leading a people-first organization.

Wise became President and CEO of Red Rocks Credit Union in February 2023. During his tenure as President and CEO, he has stabilized 90-percent of Red Rocks Credit Union’s financial metrics, oversaw a rebrand, developed a three-year strategic plan, and is operating profitability for the second year in a row. He was awarded the 2024 Colorado Titan 100 for his work in this role.

He first joined Red Rocks Credit Union in December 2019 as the Chief Impact Officer, where he spearheaded the execution of a new strategic operating system that led to increase synergy, accountability, and operational efficiency. During his time with Red Rocks Credit Union he has also served as President and Interim CEO (May 2022 – Feb. 2023), President/COO (Dec. 2021 – May 2022), and Executive Vice President and COO (Sept. 2020 – Dec. 2021) where he has helped lead the organization to increased production, profitability, implementation of a new strategic plan for growth and innovation, and is responsible for defining the brand vision and voice across its consumer experience.

He brings more than 20 years of experience leading business transformation and organizational growth to Red Rocks Credit Union, including in executive roles developing new market growth strategies, leading a multi-disciplined, geographically diverse team, and continuously scaling non-profit and charitable organizations. Through his career of leading people and organizations, he continues to serve as a catalyst for business transformation – leading, growing, and diversifying membership, overseeing hundreds of team members and leveraging innovative technology and programs to move brands forward.

Wise has a bachelor’s degree from Morris Brown College, studied Intercultural Leadership, achieved the Certificate of Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management in an Exponentially Changing World, Peregrine Global Services (MWCUA), and continued education with Cornell Tech’s CUES: CEO Institute in Fintech. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies and an Advisory Board Member for the University of Colorado Boulder – Leeds School of Business.
