Bill Furman

Department Leader – Cities and Places, Mountain West

Bill Furman is the Cities and Places Leader for the Mountain West Region for Jacobs. Bill guides a team of building design professionals (architecture and engineering). This Mountain West group delivers design for projects from the scale of billion-dollar aviation projects to small park projects. Jacobs is a multi-disciplinary consulting and professional services company with more than 55,000 employees and provides architecture and engineering services globally. Bill is from the Metro Denver region and graduated from University of Colorado-Boulder with a B.A. in Philosophy, Metropolitan State University with a B.S. in Industrial Design, and University of Colorado-Denver with a Master’s in Architecture. Bill and his family live in Lakewood, where he is active in his community serving on the Lakewood Planning Commission and advocating for housing issues. Bill serves on the AIA-Colorado Government Affairs Committee, advocating for issues concerning the architecture profession.
